The Crown put on a show Wednesday night, blowing out the Groove 94-77 to run their winning streak to three games.
Charlotte came out firing in the home-stand finale. Behind eight points from Reigan Richardson, the home team doubled up Greensboro through one quarter of play and never looked back.
The Crown were deadly from three – going a season-best 11-for-23 from downtown – and hammered the Groove on the fast break – leading that category across the contest 18-6. That offensive efficiency, combined with some stifling defense, put Charlotte in control of the contest from nearly start to finish and kept the Crown’s winning streak alive.
Richardson finished with a game-leading 19 points, while LeLe Grissett posted 12 points and Michelle Onyiah picked up eight points and 10 rebounds.
