The Crown are back at Bojangles Coliseum for two more tilts against the Savannah Steel. Before things get started, catch up on the Keys To The Game!
KEEP ON ROLLING
The hottest team in the UPSHOT League, Charlotte has rattled off eight consecutive wins and is 10-1 since July 5. Their most recent result – an 85-73 beatdown of the Steel on Wednesday – officially clinched a spot in the UPSHOT League Championship game for the Crown. With seven games remaining on the regular-season slate, the Crown now has their sights set on overtaking the first-place Jacksonville Waves, who hold a 3.5-game lead in the standings.
FLYING HIGH
A key part of Charlotte’s red-hot run has been a surge in production. Powered by the league’s number-one ranked offense, the Crown have racked up at least 85 points in seven of their last eight contests, all of which have been wins.
FULMORE STEPS UP
With Michelle Onyiah heading to the WNBA, Charlotte has had a substantial hole to fill in the post, and Quinzia Fulmore has been up to the task. Wednesday’s contest saw the center log her second-highest number of minutes this season – and most since July 10 – and post a season-best 10 points.
