The UPSHOT League announced today that Deja Kelly and Schaquilla Nunn have been named to the All-UPSHOT Team.
Kelly, 24, reigned atop the UPSHOT League in both points per game and assists per game. She also finished in the top 10 in steals per game and posted the fifth highest minutes-per-game mark in the league.
The University of North Carolina and University of Oregon product was the catalyst for Charlotte’s top-ranked offense, finishing with more 20+ point games (12) than she did single-digit point games (3) and putting up at least five assists on 15 different occasions.
Nunn, 32, led the UPSHOT League in rebounds per game and blocks per game, while also clocking in at 10th overall in steals per game and 11th in points per game – both of which pace all centers.
The Winthrop and University of Tennessee product joined the Crown six games into the season when the team was mired in a 1-5 start. After adding her to the group, Charlotte would go 22-6 the rest of the way – with Nunn finishing second on the team in minutes played per game.
The full All-UPSHOT Team also included Ariel Hearn (Jacksonville), Diamond Johnson (Greensboro), Lasha Petree (Savannah) and Rennia Davis (Jacksonville).
