The Charlotte Crown dropped its second straight game Saturday night, falling 82-78 after a resilient comeback effort came up just short.

The teams battled through a tightly contested first quarter, ending tied 17-17, before Charlotte trailed 32-28 at halftime. A tough third quarter left the Crown facing a 15-point deficit heading into the final frame.

Charlotte refused to back down, cutting the lead to just five points early in the fourth quarter and making it a battle until the final buzzer. Despite the late rally, the Crown was unable to complete the comeback, falling 82-78 while showing the same fight that has defined its season.
